Eaglescomesi has developed a multi-junction VCSEL technology for the international semiconductor industry. It has lower current, higher efficiency and faster speed. As a new round of development of VCSEL, multi-junction technology can be applied to the Company's product portfolio.

Advantages of which mainly lie in:

Higher efficiency that can reduce the overall heat load;

Higher power density that can greatly reduce the chip and package size, thus simplifying the optical design and system architecture;

Higher slope efficiency means that the same optical power as single-junction VCSEL can be achieved with very low forward pulse current, advantage of which is that the required current is greatly reduced, thus the switching speed of the driver is improved. The reduction of current enables VCSEL to emit 1ns pulse of tens or even hundreds of watts.
